Summary
The IT Specialist is to provide support to all IT processes, product development, and deployment, maintaining exceptional quality according to end-user requirements, and assist in resolving all complex issues for all internal and external customers. Provide outstanding second-level technical support as well as assist in planning and maintaining the IT infrastructure. Experience with Microsoft Office 365, IT Project Management, On Prem AD management and Azure AD Management is required.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day IT operations, equipment provisioning and user access management.
- Provide endpoint maintenance & contributing to the overall improvement of CAP’s IT Stack.
- Support IT Initiative and products implementation.
- Assist in role assignment for SAP ERP.
- Monitor compliance with information security policies and procedures.
- Perform regular audits of systems and networks.
- Keep abreast of the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Install and configure security solutions.
- Respond to security alerts in a timely manner.
- Prepare reports on project deployment and application status.
- Train users on new initiatives and IT products.
- Provide end-user support to executive staff, and advice regarding standard office applications and best practices as they evolve with company needs.
- Ensure Licensing Management for employees.
- Support the deployment of tinting machine solution to centres.
- Support onboarding / off-boarding employees on corporate systems.
- Create and update manuals and documentation.
- Acquaint the Head of IT and other personnel within the Business of current technologies that may benefit overall operation of CAP Plc.
- Work with the service providers to deploy solutions and ensure that application deployment is done according to the pre-defined standards and in line with the user requirements.
- Identify broad categories of IT consumables and services and establish procedures for ensuring that purchases conform to industry security standard.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for support/ enhancement of IT services ensuring an efficient and effective service to the organization.
- Participate in the implementation of IT budget to drive the business goals.
- Respond appropriately to problems faced by end users, determine the sources of system problem and take corrective actions, where necessary notify other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- To support and participate in company-wide sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing energy use, paper usage, water consumption, emissions, and other environmental impacts
- Responsible for driving the business’ migration into cloud and ensuring adequate monitoring, maintenance, backup and security of the cloud-based infrastructure
Requirements
A good 1st or 2nd class university degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or electronics.
- 3 - 5 years cognate experience in IT operation and management
- Experience in providing ITIL driven IT management, SAP, cloud and operation particularly in a manufacturing environment.
- Professional qualification in ITIL, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, Sophos network devices
