Summary

The role is responsible for Plans, controls and coordinates activities within the Production caustic section to ensure all Tanks, Vessels and Paddles are thoroughly cleaned and readily available for use. It is also responsible for control and treatment of effluent.

Responsibilities

• Ensures there are no discolorations of colours by thorough cleaning of Vessels, Tanks, Paddles and Valves.
• Ensures that Vessels, Tanks, Paddles and Valves are free of contaminants by periodic disinfection.
• Responsible for containing used solvents and ensure it does not mix with water-based effluent.
• To support and participate in company-wide sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing energy use, paper usage, water consumption, emissions, and other environmental impacts.
• Carries out all other duties as assigned by Team Lead.

Requirements

Minimum of OND in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, other pure sciences, or other related disciplines.

Minimum of 1 year related experience.
